Revolutionary tool enables studios to track AI-generated content and streamline production workflows
LOFTAPPS has launched LOFTai, a next-generation production management platform that integrates artificial intelligence into filmmaking, animation, and visual effects workflows. The platform, designed to help creative teams manage AI-generated content from start to finish, made its public debut at the Production Summit Los Angeles (PSLA) on January 27–28, 2026.
LOFTai is the first production-ready platform tailored for professional AI-assisted image and video generation. It allows teams to track creative prompts, assets, model parameters, and iterative changes across complex workflows, making AI-driven production more transparent, reproducible, and efficient.
Managing AI Workflows in Modern Film Production
As AI becomes a standard tool in content creation, studios face challenges in tracking the inputs and outputs of generative workflows. Gary Mundell, CEO of Tippett Studios and advisor to LOFTAPPS, notes that creative teams are often inundated with ideas but lack infrastructure to manage the operational complexity of AI experimentation.
“LOFTai removes the barriers that typically slow down AI content creation,” Mundell said. “It allows teams to refine, regenerate, or hand off AI outputs without losing the creative or technical intent behind them.”
The platform captures a complete record of input parameters, generation seeds, model versions, stylistic settings, and project-specific attributes, ensuring that every step of the production process is auditable and reproducible.
Bringing Precision to AI-Driven Content
Traditional visual effects pipelines were not built to handle iterative, AI-driven production, according to Remko Noteboom, CTO of LOFTAPPS. “LOFTai transforms AI workflows by providing reliable prompt tracking and asset management,” he said. “It converts what can be chaotic AI data into a controlled, precise process, so teams can focus on creativity rather than logistics.”
LOFTai’s feature set includes a browser and desktop application, full transparency across AI workflows, and the ability to recreate or refine AI-generated assets throughout production. It enables teams to scale AI content creation while preserving creative control, making it suitable for film, animation, VFX, commercial production, and enterprise projects.
Phil Tippett Demonstrates LOFTai in Action
VFX pioneer Phil Tippett has been using LOFTai in the production of his upcoming feature film, Sentinel. Tippett emphasized the platform’s role in managing large volumes of AI-generated data without compromising the creative process.
“LOFTai gives us full visibility and lineage for every prompt and asset,” Tippett explained. “It bridges traditional VFX processes with AI experimentation, letting us explore ideas without losing the creative intent behind them.”
During PSLA, Tippett and the LOFTAPPS team participated in a panel titled “Know Your Foe”, where they discussed the integration of AI into the Sentinel workflow and the benefits of LOFTai in preserving both artistic and technical consistency.
Hands-On at PSLA
Attendees had the opportunity to see LOFTai in action through one-on-one briefings and an informal reception with a live demonstration. LOFTAPPS leadership highlighted how the platform can transform production pipelines, improve collaboration, and increase efficiency for creative teams working with AI.
